Finding Inner Freedom

Welcome to Simply Anxious! I'm Lisa, and it's my mission to guide women on a journey away from fear and self-doubt towards a life filled with self-belief and joy.

For far too long, anxiety was my constant companion. It felt like a heavy shadow over my life, leading me down paths of self-medication and a desperate race to stay one step ahead of it. Those days were tough, filled with silent struggles and fleeting hopes for effective support.

But everything changed in 2014. Fed up with the stigma and silence, I took a stand for anxiety awareness. My adventure took me across the UK, sharing my story and lending a voice to a national mental health campaign. My efforts earned me a British Empire Medal from the Queen, recognising my dedication to mental health advocacy.

In a life-changing decision in November 2019, I chose to step away from my career to focus on my healing. That moment marked a new chapter in my life, transforming my battle with anxiety into a story of liberation and understanding.

Today, I stand before you, not as someone who battles anxiety but as someone who has learned to live beyond it. This shift has not only given me a fresh outlook on life but also ignited my passion to rewrite the story of anxiety and elevate mental wellness to the same level as physical health.

My journey to recovery has been a profound source of pride and gratitude. It's opened doors I never imagined and renewed my enthusiasm for life. Now, I'm here to help others discover their path to freedom. Through coaching, I aim to empower them to embrace the life they're meant to live, full of potential and free from the chains of anxiety.

Much love, Lisa x
